Appeal from dismissal of oral request made under Canada Evidence Act, s. 39(1) by Attorney General of Canada as respondent to have Court file kept confidential on interim basis-Respondent could not, on basis of Clerk of Privy Council certificate, seek to remove from possible public review complete file of Court accessible to public for more than one year-From October 27, 1995 to December 12, 1996, Court file accessible to anyone wishing to consult it, like any other file not subject of confidentiality order-Unrealistic to ask Court on basis of certificate filed on November 4, 1996, to temporarily undo prior public availability-Neither applicant nor anyone else ever moved in Court for disclosure of information referred to in certificate-Certificate of no assistance to respondent for purposes of oral request-Respondent could have taken advantage of certain opportunities to ask Court for order of confidentiality, but did not do so until December 12, 1996-Appeal dismissed-Canada Evidence Act, R.S.C., 1985, c.
